Dressup in costumes (^_^)
Last summer, my classmates and I celebrated a party in which everyone had to dress up in costume and had to wear a mask. That party looked like a costume ball. For me, I chose to become a Dracula in legend. I bought the false carmine tooth, a black robe, the black shoes, black costume, and a black mask. I went to the party and I saw that my friends camouflaged to become many characters in many movies and stories. I could not recognize them, and I thought they could not either. In my opinion, all of us were really difference and had a good looking with many colorful costumes. Suddenly, the light was off. No one knew what was happening. Suddenly, the light was on. We could see there were many foods on a long table. It looked like in a movie. Music was turned on, we dance together but we did not speak any words, so we could played a game at the rest. After enjoying the music and dancing, we have to guess whom we were dancing with by naming them on a paper. Unfortunately, I could not guess exactly all of my friends, so I could not get the only gift of the party. It was hard for everyone to guess because no word was spoken, we just made our guess by looking at the body and by luck. There was only one could recognize all people. He won the only gift of the party. Even though I could not get the gift, I got the most important thing from the party; it was fun and happiness from friends. I wish we can have another party in the future.

Easter Day

Most of Americans are Christianities; they are for sure following Jesus and revering him. According to the Bible, Jesus was resurrected from the dead three days after his crucifixion, so the Christians celebrate to congratulate the Jesus’ reborn. In America, many families will attend Sunday Mass or services in the morning and then participate in a feast or party in the afternoon. They will also give the Easter eggs as the presents. In the morning of the Eater Day, the Americans usually go to the church and pray Jesus. After that, they are going back home and the families are gathering to have a meal in the afternoon. However, since family’s members are now living far away from their origins, they may have the meal together at noon, so people can leave early. After having meal, they will give their presents: the Easter eggs, which are symbols for the reborn. The Easter eggs are made from chocolates or many different materials; such as plastics, the real chickens’ shell, etc. with many different colors. During the Easter Day, the Americans usually talk about Jesus and the Christianity. They also talk about their normal lives and share their stories with their family’s members. Therefore, I think the significance that Easter has for most Americans is religious and family because they are praying and going to the church at the Easter day, and they are gathering to have a meal, share their individual with each other. Consequently, I think this is the important holiday for America, who are Christianities or un-Christianities because they can be together, have a pause-time during their hard works, their hard lives, especially, they can have fun with their children.
